Well, I think im coming near the point where its time for a little hardware upgrade..( and to the point where I just want to overclock some stuff and go nuts ) .. Im considering the following.. Opinions please and comments.. :)
AMD 64 3700+ San Diego
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819103539
$329.00
ZALMAN CNPS7700-CU
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835118115
$47.00
G.SKILL PC4400

$235.00 - $256.00
Which ones should I go with out of the bottom 3??
Timing: 2.5-4-4-8
Voltage: 2.7-2.9V
Timing: 2.5-4-4-8
Voltage: 2.65V-2.85V
or for 20$ more for..
Timing: 2.5-3-3-7
Voltage: 2.65V-2.85V
ZALMAN ZM400B
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817103213
$92.00
Other Possible Additions..
74GB Western Digital Raptor
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822144160
$166.00
Alright.. now since the top part of this is mostly all decided, and I just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions or anything.. on to the hard part..
Now, Here are my two options..
1.) Stick with AGP, then I can keep my x800 XT and not worry about a
VGA upgrade, and go with a DFI NForce 3 ( Lanparty UT nF3 Ultra-D )
or
2.) Go PCI-E, then have to sell my x800 XT, most likely get a X800 XL, or possibly X850 XT then get a DFI NForce 4 ( DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultra-D )
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813136152
$135.00
If I did the second option, I could also try to possible wait for the new ATi mobos and see how they O/C and then use the X850 and a R520 in a setup.. which would be rather pricey..and maybe even unesscary..
So..
Suggestions and Comments on what I should do here??
