only 17% plan to go G70, while 40% plan to go R520!

only 10% havent decided yet what next gen card to get, a very low number considering that there are no performence indications of atis r520 have been released yet! yet many people already plan to buy an r520 card.

almost 25% of the participants of the poll are planning to get an r520 based videocard, while only 10% plan to get a G70 based videocard!

17% of the voters plan to even go dual r520, while only 7% plan to go dual G70.

only 12% of the voters plan to keep their current videocard and add a second card to run SLI or crossfire. 6% fof the voters plan to get a second card to run CrossFire and 6% plan to get a second card to runit in SLI.

and only 18% of the voters plan to get a next gen videocard right away.

this means over 2/3 of the voters will buy either an nvidia or ati based next gen card as soon as they come out and most seem to have already made their decision without knowing any details about the specs, performence and features as well as image quality of the cards!

very interesting results! and again many thanks to everybody who shared their opinion with us :)

i'll be getting dual 6800 gts when the G70 comes out :D

right now i'm still running on a trusty GF4 Ti 4200. heh.

yeah, i did vote as "i won't be going next gen right away" or somesuch.

no matter what i'll be sticking to nvidia, they are proven to be better performers at ogl, and not too far behind on d3d. so they're good enough for me.

besides, SLI has been out long enough now that it's had time to mature. imagine the driver issues folks have been having with the sli boards made ten times worse when ati does it with crossfire? ati drivers have always been less stable than nvidia drivers.

i never had any driver problems with ati... i doubt atis drivers are less stable, thats an old rumor that isnt spread anymore because nobody has problems with atis drivers anymore, or at least not more people than those who have problems with nvidia drivers :D
