ok i am looking to know what the missing thing is from the chip i got for Plum Ugly.
also what that missing peice does and what ill effects will happen to the chip if any?

Looks like a surface mount capacitor to me. You may be able to replace it, depending on the amount of damage done to the surrounding soldering pad and/or traces when it came off. Best take it to a professional and get an opinion. If it is salvageable I can probably get it done for you cheaply, but shipping costs may not be worth it.

surface mount capacitor, shouldnt hurt to run without it but if it doesnt work just replace it and all should be good.

ok i guess then a stupid question have any of you run a chip with out it?
because to have it working .... i would send it to anyone that could/would fix it.
