not sure how reliable the results are, but the bottom table shows a 9°C temp drop compared to a conventional fan - impressive if true

they look good, i think the fact there isn't a motor in the middle of the fan might be a cause for lower temps as more air can acctully get through the fan and there for more surface area avaliable for cooling, like when you have a standard fan on a CPU, theres a large circle right over the core, where the motor is, where as this fan doesn't suffer that problem, so airflow straight over the core!

Good find Special_K, the reason for the temp drop is like you said jopers the huge motor hub is eliminated getting rid of the did spot on the heatsink that is usually directly over the core. :) Only problem is they only come in 70mm flavors as far as I seen. Most heatsinks come with atleast 80mm fans. This is a good combo when used with stock AMD coolers. I've tried one a while back and gave me a nice drop in temps.
