Any known issues with BT voyager 2000?

I've tried Googling for it, but as this is an old Wireless Router, there aint much about.

I've set it to allow connections only from certain known MAC addresses. I've upgraded the Firmware.

There are a few Wardrivers round here, and I don't really want my 2Mb connection abused by all & sundry.

I'm connecting to the Router via CAT5, so it's only got to verify one MAC address, and it can lock out all others (The MAC address is one USB .11g adaptor used on a few comps, mostly for Data Transfer, and the odd bit of browsing if I'm not busy).

Any suggestions?

you said your connecting to the router through cable, so remove the attena if your worried about war drivers. war driving is so uncommon I have never actually heard of anyone doing it, now taking a signal from an appartment or buisiness like star bucks is a different story. also configure the router with WEP.

Can't remove Antennae, as the GF is on the other comp a lot, (It's only her MAC address that I've told it to accept) and there's s**itloads of interference between my walls (I live in Flats/Apartments, so Guess there's a lot of Thick Mains cables running in the wetwalls)

WEP isn't enabled at the mo, so might do that. Will it give me a real security advantage over what MAC filtering?

As for WarDriving being rare, it's the minimum of 6-10 people/groups I KNOW of round here that make me edgy, (And they deffo aint wannabe's Lamers). Most of them would just spam me with 733t messages, but a few are kinda twisted, and I wouldn't like to think what they'd pull down the pipe if they had control of it.
