I was wondering if D2OL is verifying correctness of my computed results. I would not want my overclocked rig to send incorrect results.

What do u mean?? If u mean that a high overclock will corrupt your score, I dont think that ever happens.

I mean the correctness of the actual computation i.e. results generated. For example, another similar project is SETI@home which does not verify results but simply sends them. So, if my PC is not 100% stable it can send incorrectly computed results that are useless. I hope you got the point.

You need to elaborate on what you mean by "corrupt" computations. Secondly, I'm sure D20L application has a mechanism to deal with this.

I am sure that it will not accept corrupt results.

One day one of my comps showed that it did around 400 cands in 6hrs. I was like WTF???

when it uploaded i only got credit for about 20 of those cands. The others are history, gone forever. :stick:
