I've been blocked!!!

Well, fellow team m8's I've lost the battle with my IT department. They have blocked access to more work units:mad: They've unfortunately taken down my two P4 1.8Ghz machines. I only managed to get 16 WU's finished before they realized it. What really irritates me is the work instructions are pretty small downloads and only 16 in one week is hardly heavy network access:mad: Fortunately I was able to add my g/f's brothers P4 1.6 over the weekend and I think I will be adding his Dad's Duron 1.1 the next time we go visit.

So I'm down to 3.2Ghz folding for the team now:mad: sorry everyone!

Anyone else notice that P4's are really slow at folding? I added my xp 1600 a day later then the P4's and both P4's only got through 8 each but my AXP is on its 14th today, WTF?

Can't wait for my nforce2 and 2600+ after xmas!!

2) if not, did you ask them that you could run it on them?

no and no I just started and got away with it for as long as I could. Tis the reason I wont be raising a stink about it, just bums me out cause they allow peeps to surf and play net games all day long but they wont allow someone to help humanity:confused:

In the future, on any of the p4 rigs, add the " -advmethods" flag to the end of the command line and it will speed the client up a little for ya.:)
