hello there. its really hot here today (95F) and my pc is overheating. is there anyway i can make it not shut off automatically? if it overheats? please help!

Same problem, I'm underclocked to 2.0 right now. Funny thing is I can't tel lthe difference, love AMD :)

lol, i have 2 120mm fans in here, and im still overheating :(

you run an intel rig, they throttle based on their heat, when they think they get within an unacceptable range they throttle down their clocks for their on protection. Some motherboards have auto shutoff at certain temps as well, i know mine does im not sure about anything else though.

i see, well. right now i have my house fan blowing more air on my pc to help it stay cool. i should put the A/C on but......gets expensive. and i think ill be alright for now.

i finnaly turned my ac on, and temps dropped by 10C!

cant u go into BIOS and change what temperature it shuts down at or completely turn feature off? Unless it is reaching a dangerous temperature, then I guess its good that its shutting off.

yes i can change the temp at which i shut down at, i have no experience with anything but this mobo so i couldnt tell you if you can.

I don't have to face such problems :D I use an 850MHz Athlon Thunderbird. It should have low heat because of the low MHz. Glad to be using old processors, lol. But then again, I can't play all these uber games like you guys either... Hahaha... :slap:
