Anybody else has experience with the other adaware software? :D Something that costs money is okay too... I'm not restricted to free version. :)

HijackThis works very well for me. Of course, you will need to know what to delete, as you could easily clear out your entire system (which is very bad.)

First thing I do after I format is install Ad-Aware, then Spybot Search and Destroy, and finally I install Spyware Blaster. Ad-Aware and Spybot Search and Destroy are detection programs that search your HD for problems, Spyware Blaster runs in the background to prevent adware and spyware from being installed in the first place. These three programs are a killer combo. They'll stop just about any and all spyware/adware from ever reaching your system.

Exactly the same combo I have. I used to only use Ad-aware and Spybot Search & Destroy but since I've added Spyware Blaster (3 weeks ago) I haven't gotten any spyware, only tracking cookies. So my suggestion is to use Spyware Blaster along with the other two you already have.

It's also good to have some sort of anti-virus program because spyware usually leads to virus'. If you already have spyware and cannot get rid of it use hijackthis and post your log on www.helponthenet.com in the security section. Those guys have saved me so many times.

thanx for the replies guys. :)

but I'm not having problem with my PCs.. I'm good at managing my own pc and not getting spyware/virus. :D

what i'm looking for is a good program to "remove" adaware/spyware for client's computers that are already infected....

I see many people like Microsoft Anti-spyware.. I'll give that a try. :D thanx for all your input.. i'll check out the other programs you guys mentioned.. :)

MS Antispy, cause it's active spyware scanning, not passive like Spybot and Adaware...

I use... Java Spyware Blaster, MS Antispy, Spybot, and AVG... AVG is antivirus, but it works on alot of spyware too.
no programs perfect, what spybot misses, MS Antispy gets, and vice versa.
however, I still get spyware sometimes.
so I just format it and start clean, and so the cycle continues...
