Hey I just wanted to know if anyone knows which brand of X800XL is best in terms of overclockability, reliability, and cooling. Sapphire, ATI, MSI, Powercolor? Thanks a lot!

I believe i saw a saphire on newegg with a zalman cooler, so if you'd like overclockability and keep stock on, go with that.

^changing the thermal paste on that would help a ton

Try to find one with the external power connector. THe price difference is like $60 IMHO not worth it.

i've got the powercolor(with power connector) and it clocks pretty good, it does 465/560 on stock cooler.
i think it will clock higher but im happy with that for the time being.

Thanks a lot, i've looked at all of them and it seems like the Sapphire with the Zalman or the Powercolor with the extra molex connecter would be the best. Which do you think is more important for overclocking?

Sapphire is more expensive i think. At most u will an extra 10mhz on core or mem. Not worth the extra cash. Get the powercolor

Actually the powercolor is only 5 bucks more than the sapphire...
