Hey.
For my P4 rig, I am gonna get some new ram, and it will either be:
OCZ EL Plat. Edition PC3200 (1x512mb stick).
Or 2x256mb Adata Vitesta PC4000.
What I need is some ram that will go VERY high in FSB, 260-270+.
Adata looks great because of they will go quite high although they are only 3-4-4-8 where OCZ is 2-3-2-5.
Note: Must work in a Abit AS-8.

Can you give us a link to a reliable online retailer in Denmark so we can make recommendations ??

What do you mean?
Prices or?
I can get Vitestas for 140$ or a dual kit 2x256mb of OCZ for about 125-130$ note not Rev2.

Get BH-5 for intel and run a divider in my opinion.

Well lets say my funds are unlimited, what would be the best ram at 3,2VDimm max?
I would prefer 1:1.

hi mate , i have had vitesta pc4000 running at ddr580 at 2.5-3-3-6 on an
intel i865 motherboard with PAT enabled, they did better than tccd and bh-5.
edit... at 3.1v (3.04ACTUAL measured)
the 256 mb ones do MUCh better than the 512 ive tried (ddr 556 3-3-4-6)

I noticed you are comparing a single 512 stick to the dc set, any reason? The duel channel kit would be better either way imo.
Also have you considered these? (http://www.atacom.com/program/print_html_new.cgi?cart_id=8450012_65_33_190_95&Pagecode=SEARCH_ALL&Item_code=MEDD_OCZT_AG_I7&USER_ID=www) I know its a US reseller but you might look for it near you. The Hynix D5 chips have been known to do really well on the Intels with low votlage.

Well they dont sell then in DC kits in Denmark.

Ah, that makes sense. I thought you were comparing running a single stick of 512 versus 2x256. I would go OCZ though. If for nothing else the RMA process and support would be close at hand here on the forums.

Well I don't have a vdimm mod done so I'm stuck at 3.2V so my ram hits the wall at 230. I've been into windows at 280 but I couldn't get it Pi stable. I actually haven't even played with the 14 divider yet but I plan to after some more mods. My new OCZ gets here on Friday so I should be able to see how far I can really go. Up, up, and away! :D
