I have this video card and it's running at 83ºC in full load. That's horrible.
Does it come with thermal paste? I don't want to try coolermoding it if its cooler is hard to take off, like my old Radeon 9700 (it came with elastometer).

Thanks

Nope, it's comming with a thermal pad.
HS can easily be removed.
Did the same on mine (same card as yours), applied some AC and installed a Zalman VF700-Cu on it. Way better.

Hummm, that's what's interesting to me. It's REALLY easy? I don't want to force anything. When you press the clips in the back of the board the HS automatically goes down?

Surely not, 'cause I live in Brazil, there will be no difference :(

Thanks

The clips on my old 6800u were really easy to get off. I think it goes for the whole series and is actually one of the causes for lots of bad temps across the range - loose fittings.
