Hello
I'm going to start with the problem. Yesterday I bought 2 sticks 512Mb TwinMos TwiSTER DDR-533 non Pro version(two single chan sticks according to TwinMos info) and here's what the sticker says:

P/N: M2GLJ16A8ATTHF0811AMW
Model NO: M2GLJ16A-TT
PC4300(CL3)
There's also and 2,8V operational voltage sticker

According to the XS TwinMOS extreme memory thread it must be Hynix D5 memory, and it looks like D5, "brainpower" PCB......

System: Epox 9NDA3J, A64 Winnie 3000+ 0511, ThermaRight SLK-948U, 2x512Mb TwiSTER PC4300

Results:
200Mhz CL2-3-3-6 2,6V C1
200Mhz CL2-3-3-6 2,8V OK memtest86
230Mhz CL2,5-4-3-7 2,8V Ok memtest86

Above 230Mhz multiple errors start. It won't even start above 240Mhz. I've tried changing the HTT to 3x and there's no difference. Chipset voltage won't help too. The CPU is rock stable to 278FSB, but in case this is the problem.....i also switched the multi to 8x. No difference at all. The only thing that might be a problem, is the vdimm. This 9NDA3 Series mobo gives me only 2,76V real when it's set to 2,8V in BIOS(max value). I'm woundering what's your opinion, is this a voltage problem?

I'm curious if there's someone with this memory to share some info what's his results, too.

Ot kude ti e infoto 4e stikovete sa skapani. Mislq dovechera da lepna edin vdimm mod i da vidq kakvo shte stane. 10x vse pak za vklu4vaneto i se radvam da procheta mnenie ot Bulgarin.:)

That's some realy bad news, but there's still hope of success. Maybe later I can try them on ASUS A8N SLI vdimm modded(300Mhz stable) or make a vmod tonight. There's already a 9NDA3 Series complete vmod thread.

Voodoo|Minion can you tell me, what's your system specs, and some results. 10x

that hynix needs some volts to achieve any oc for me

with 3.4 volts my friends hynix will do 3-3-3-8 at 285 stable and 290 to bench but i think he is lucky with that pair its kingmax pc4000 hardcore series lolol

At least they're very cheap compared to the others... you pay for what you get
I also ordered a pair ot 512MB modules... we'll see how they perform on my system.

i bought them from most.bg :) they did not do ddr500 at their rated voltage and not even at 2.9V. Since one of my friends works there , i was able to return them as damaged and to get a pair of ADATA Vitesta PC4000 sticks which completely EXCELL in everything..

My two systems are:
a64 3000+
dfi ultra-d

and
2.8Ghz Northwood
Abit ai7

The adata hit around ddr570 on both of them , getting tighter timings
on the athlon system (2.5-3-3-5) compared to the P4 (3-3-3-6)

my info is from most and jar, they have had many customers complain from the sticks. I bought a pair of 256mb ones 6 months ago from komplett.co.uk *uk vendor* and they were completely different, but since i needed an updgrade to 1gb i had to pass them on and get the 512mb ones

Just got a pair of 512MB modules from reset.bg today. They are rated 2.8 volts by spd, however, that's why some boards have trouble running them I suppose. On my ASUS A8N-E they work like a charm - 533MHz easy - by default (only setting 533 DDR speed from the v.1003 BIOS - everything else on 'Auto' setting. Did not have enough time to try overclocking them on 3V (which is the max voltage an Asus A8N-E can deliver). Whith these modules my Winchester 3000+ runs without problems at 9x266MHz (33% overclock). And they are still cheaper than A-Data Vitesta DDR-500. They also come with 3 years warranty.
