You do know that TT pays for good reviews &

The silentcat 90mm is best fan abail for rpm v db v cfm and its fair as both has 54 cfm fans anyhiw i not need get from USA today its avail in UK, its came good in every single review.
I know about TR and running case fans with controlers ie a tornado, i prefer a fan developed for a cpu heatsink, so wish there was a silentcat120mm.

ya those temps are mest up, my swiftech gets better load and idle, and all the xp 90's i hear about do better than mine, plus, look at the horrible finish on the base... u mite wanna get one of those kits to smoothen it out, it looks like they took 10 grit and just started sanding

Ive searched around for reviews of the silent cat and all of them say that their dba is seriously underrated. IIRC their real dba is closer to 45. (search for reviews on the heatsink from TT that includes that fan)

I've also seen reviewers install the XP-90 unside-down, with the heatpipes up. It still works, but its way more efficient with them down or to the side.

i dun think it would fit if it were upside down, and how the hell would they secure it?

Um...you secure it the same as you do normally. Only difference is the base is rotated 180 degrees. Like on my AI7, the way the socket is oriented you can mount it with the heatpipes coming out the top or bottom, bottom is best because then you aren't fighting gravity for the condensed coolant to return down the heatpipes to the heatsink base. I doublechecked with Thermalright on this because some heatpipes use wicks to overcome this orientation requirement; they said it definitely does affect performance which direction you mount it.

P1 FOOK the reviews i own the TT silentcat90mm and i know lots use them, for once the db rating seems true, its near silent, its a real cpu fan not a desktop tornado, anyhow i got my TT today but cant be fooked to remove mobo till next week as i got few other thing to do while its out.
Makes me laugh that i can test and TR or TT and fans out cousins shop and still some try claim otherwisw, but sure thats only in my own pc cant say it be same in others but the db is quiet.

show me some pics of this, cuz uhh, the top of the xp90 is quite a bit bigger than the base, so i dunno how the clips would get around, tho i dunno wut the clips look like either, but seriously, show me pics.

Um, I don't understand what you are describing, and I don't think you understood what I meant by it being installed upside down. Imagine it being installed on a processor, rotate it 180 degrees on the core and it is installed the other way. On my board that means the heatpipes either come out the top or bottom of the heatsink, bottom being the most efficient.
Here is a picture I found with the heatsink installed in the correct orientation. See how the heatpipes come out the side of the heatsink that is towards the NB and bottom of the board. If it were to be installed the other way, with the heatpipes towards the top of the board, the heatpipes would lose a lot of efficiency.
