well, this is what ive been able to do so far, at around 260 my mem controller starts to crap out. i can do with same with cas 2.5 upto 245. im sure with some more volts i can tighten even more and push further if i had a mem controller up to snuff. can anyone suggest anything i can do to reduce latency/increase bandwidth?

this stuff should put utt to shame almost.

this is at 280x9 with a 754 2800 35w mobile.

That's looking good. Would you happen to have a Sandra Memory Bandwidth screenshot? Some Everest screens would be a bonus, too.

As far as tweaking the A64 timings for decreased latency and increased bandwidth, my method involves having two windows open: A64 Tweaker and SiSoft Sandra Memory Bandwidth Benchmark. I run the Sandra benchmark three times and average my score to come up with a baseline. From there, I start adjusting each of the settings in A64 Tweaker and then run the Sandra bench again to note any increases or decreases in bandwidth. Once I find a setting that doesn't cause the system to lock up. I'll run SuperPI 2M just to come up with a quick idea of how stable the new settings are.

The setting that is going to make the biggest impact will be Refresh Rate (Tref), so that's the first one I'd tweak. Once you've got all of your settings finalized, run SuperPI 32M and see if you can complete the entire run. If you can complete the entire run and you're doing all of this on the DFI nF3 board, go into BIOS and plug all of the memory settings into their respective fields. This way, you won't have to configure everything via A64 Tweaker when you reboot your system.

Now hook us up with some Sandra Bandwidth screenies. :D

yeah, i need more volts, but does it do it with such tight timmings on the extra's? thats kinda what im trying to show is that you dont need utt or bh-5 to do tight timmings at higher fsb.

Never really played much with the timings and voltage on the DFIK NF4 and EB. I had new ram i was trying out.. One of these days ill have to throw them back in and check it out.

hmmmm i just noticed i get 3ns slower latency with 9x272 with 9:10 divider than when i run 245X9 1:1. same timmings. that doesnt make sense, guess dividers actually do hurt a64 perfomance.

Lol guys. And BH5 do 2-2-2-x at 270 and some more :p:.
