View Full Version : which mobile video card would be best?

i was looking at this laptop here http://www.abspc.com/app/config.asp?mono=1884 and it has a GeForce 6600 go video card in it. and i was looking at this lappy also, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16834224016 which has a mobile 9700 in it. which would be best for gaming?

hmm, i think i found the answer to my own question. the 6600 gets about 6K in 3DMARK03, while my 9700pro only get like 4500. and check out these benchs http://hardware.gamespot.com/Story-ST-x-1485-x-x-x

There are a few manufacturers that come with the 6800 Go card. If I remember correctly it is a 12 pipe card with 256MB of RAM and a 450 Mhz core.

The 9700 has a few versions some are WAY faster than nothers...also the X800 mobile is out and one version is like 10% faster then the 6800 GO also with the ability to put desktop drivers on ATi cards and with teh new 5.6 out that boosts EVERYTHING by like 10% find the X800 mobile...
