the only thing good about this board is the space between pcie slots thats it period. i bought this board when it came out and would love to take a sledge hammer to it. they dont know how to make a decent bios either. frustrated
ok voltage is back to 1.55,they realized the 1.65 didn't work(wondering why was even in a final bios)1 t problem i didn't tried it yet but it fixed to me an issue withharddrives locking up the pc so i'm relatively happy!

where do you get RAM# from .....well i'll need one for Australia.....i would ask for it even tho i have Zalman on
i have that Zalman 47J passive NB heatsink now and it's 7-8C lower in temp ATM....i have airflow from 80mm hard drive fans...so pretty much no noise in my case :)
once 1T issue gets resolved and it will i'm sure it will be the best board out there......i had Ultra-D and no thanks....Abit's new board might be a viable option....Fatal1ty AN8-SLI with 3.55vdimm for DFI voltage loving/mobo killing buyers

the new fan that they gave me..
looks like::
i put my thermal probe on the bottom of the heatsink where the fan spins and the probe reads 39 under load i would say what i tried to do is run 3dmark, and aquamark and some stress test ..
though i wonder wouldn't a fan cause more heat because the middle of the fan where it rotates gets hot but maybe it doesn't even the chip..
EDIT: it spins at about 5200 rmp.. much lower then the other one and is much much lighter

you called them and said to them hey my :banana::banana::banana::banana:ty nb fan is loud and dead and they send to you that little nice looking fan???
right now i dont have the fan pluged in jus a 80mm fan in top of it run at 35° so its ok for me but i want the original chipset fan to sell the board.
thanks for the info my friend :D if i dont have to rma the entire board i'll do it.
i spoke with asus in italy they replace the fan only if i send the mb to them and it'll take a month and is not sure they are going to replace it...they don't give just the fan...and also i said about the 1t problem they are working on it in taiwan^^

hi m8
you can only do 275MHz 1:1 at 2T or 1T with 333 divider......
you should be able to do 280*10=2800MHz.....just set timings to 2-3-3-6-1T in 333 divider and everything else at Auto.....I use 2.85V for RAM......also you can try 280*10 1:1 2T...should work OK to...might want to relax timings to 2.5-4-4-8-2T......I ran my Asus at 285MHz 1:1 2T OK so it is achievable......running it at 2T will give you a 30MHz penalty (someone made a post about this..donno if true)
i got errors in memtest at DDR600 and even DDR590 with Asus.......whereas my DFI Ultra-D setup did DDR598 1T error free in memtest but windows unstable
