I'm thinking about buying a X800XT AGP card from newegg for some Dothan
overclocking.

I have previously bought two 9800Pro, one OEM and one Retail. The retail
version clocked about 30MHz better on the core.
Do you think this was just a glitch/luck, or do they speed bin the chips
and put the best ones in the retail cards?
The difference is only $10.

Anyone with any experience of this?

Also, what do you think about Sapphire's X800XT cards? Is there a better/worse brand?

oem means that it usually only comes with the card. I would get retail box if i were you. I dont think this could mean there is any difference in how it clocks, just the luck of the draw i would think.

Yeah, even though it feels pretty silly to argue about $10 on a $400 card, it's still something. Also, I don't need the CDs, manuals etc.

Just get OEM then.. I never experienced a OEM that were clocked lower from birth?!
