If person above is right, its a shame. The Ultra 500W XConnect for the pricerange (~$50 with mail-in-rebate) is an amazing PSU for someone building a Value Gamer Rig. Though I think what Drew meant was that it isnt the best PSU for SLI ;)

Since December 2004 the X-Connects have been made by Deer which are junk.

All Ultra PSU's are junk, period.

Oh and the person above me has 2 6600GT's.

Fine, Drew, then its pretty good junk for the price...THat's the point. Though its aethetic appeal, not to mention modular feature, make up quite a bit for a non-brand name psu. Again, among the competitors in the price range, its not bad at all...and that you cant find that antec 500 of yours everywhere, but the Ultra X-Connect is cheap almost EVERYWHERE.

personally i dont like x-connect at all. all show no go. my antec is pretty decent though. ive put this thing through all hell with all the mods and stuff ive tried on it. and yet it keeps kicking away. close to a year or more now. and i keep abusing it. im gonna push it till it pops and takes out my whole system! :):):)
