Counter strike and guild wars problems!

OK, Lets start with counterstrike.
When I try to open steam it says updating platform and when it gets to 99% it says can not write to dbghelp.dll does anyone know how to fix this?!

Now in guild wars
Almost every time I am on I get kicked off (usually in the middle of a mission) and it says error 7. How can I fix this?

hehehe I play both games.

For CS, I say just goto steampowered.com and look for a solution. If you don't find one, write them a nasty email.

I have written them 2 emails about problems, I waited 3 weeks, no response, I replied back with a nasty comment about their service, and I got a response the next day.

So write them an informative email, and act like you support them, say please and thanks. If they don't respond for a week or so, reply with a nasty email. They have came through with solutions that have worked.

for steam, i don't even worry about that, i just delete everything and start over the next day....

as for guild wars, don't play it. but maybe a re-install would help.
