nice... Can you pass superpi 1mb ?
Jeff037
05-29-2005, 02:11 AM
in order now not, but I hope that under co2 I succeed to us. I would want also to hold the ram in sincrono, therefore to go better... but me it serves the mod

WD Jeff! :toast:
as far as I know current WR for Socket A is 3,3 ghz stable. I think you can do better than that Jeff :toast:

thanks to all. I cooled with simple water of tap. Now, as soon as I end the tube for co2, I hope to touch the 3,3ghz.... now, I must make also a pair of modifications the nf7, therefore try to touch the 32'. :slobber:
I have seen people, to arrive to 3,4ghz with this processor, but smashing in the cache. the limit of these processors is the cache. under Ln2, creed will not resist to along. :(
not there is some modification that it makes me to go the vdimm beyond 3,3v?
still thanks :fact:

hi there,
indeed very good cpu stepping!!
If it reaches this speed on h²o who knows what it will do on a phase change or dry ice.. :slobber:
good luck!

Nice guy ;)

.jeff.
there is a mod where you connect the 3.3V rail from PSU to the memory on the backside of the card. then you can increase the 3.3V on your PSU.
i can't find a link or picture of the mod though...

05-30-2005, 07:15 PM
right, nf7-s rev.2 is modable to 3.3v rail, but i can recommend the ocz boosterm they'll work great on slot1 and u will arrive higher voltages.
suicide wr on socket a is 3.62ghz.
did u mod u're vdd voltage for fsb267, or is that dc stock?

i think there is a better way and its to connect to the dimm caps. that way you dont get the flucs.

ohhh man you do 267 FSB on BH-5 without Vmem mod on NF7 ?? :slobber: :slobber: :slobber: I can't Believe in that ... ...
And your Barton is crazy too :slobber: - >3.1 Ghz suicide on normal WC - that is awesome :slobber: ...I don't want to know what will You do on Dry-Ice  ...
My friend has Barton 2500+ and he do 2750/1.93V on NF7 / cool by SP-97 ...we are going to test it on Dry-Ice next few weeks (for 3 weeks) :woot: ... we already do SPI 16M on 2944 Mhz/2.2V using homemade FC with 1/5HP comp, screen suicide 3157 Mhz... :)
So we can da a small Barton on DI challenge...but I see that you will beat us easy...very easy ... :slobber:
We will post our scores in http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=80 so keep in mind :)

best vio=vdimm mod i have seen for a straight mod
you might want to vsense mod the PSU to get the vdimm to go above 3.3
otherwise get a DDR booster...

x solvet:
I succeed to close the spi ones to 2950 approximately, but with os crazyed, marked to me 37sec. Now, I have the mb in rma, as soon as it returns, I put on win server 2003, ocz booster and co2. Then, we will try the 29 to 260 to 2-2-2-11
x sayaa:
yes, my system is alphacool a nexxxos.this system, is not adapted absolutely for oc extreme but only for daily use. now, enough with the water, it is passed co2 to x the bench, I have only the spi ones from 35sec to 2,82ghz and the spi ones from 37sec 2,95ghz(with crazy os). if you want, them place
29sec's is just too fast without phase change.
