Congrats on your sick scores & even sicker voltages there...
What's your cpu steppings?? Do you have any issues or any tricks to get your cpu to get along with the sub-zero temps of your promy??
Cheers,
Minh
edit: 1,000th post... :woot: :woot:
tks
week 17th; stepping, I hv to revert when I will take it out ...
no subzero issues, temps' readings, with MMB, between -29° and -23°; promy display -58° and never below -49°
Sucka

i cannot get my venice to boot if below -8C (bios) Have I missed somthing? I thought the Venice boot issue was only for -50c and below? This is the first I've heard of a problem with any single stage cooler.:confused:
Speaking of temps ... That 1.82v pumping through the Venice is the most I can recall seeing. :eek: DDA, what kind of temps were being reported in the middle of your 32m run?

-43° idle, to -35° during 32mb

@DDA
Geezzz :slobber: That Vencie is screaaaaaming! Man, 32MB at almost 3.3GHz is just awesome! Those 0517 are just MAD!
Great achievement, bro :thumbsup:

It's because not many are crazy enough to put more than 1.8v onto their 90nm CPUs... :) Many think it's too much for Winchester/Venice. Even on air, 1.75-1.80v for benching should be safe. As long as gains are present and temps are right for stable operation, pump that voltage. That's what I say, too :D

DDA, WOW! Suicide overclock! Congrats, man! But you're using too old version of CBId.

Do you tested this CPU on Air or watercooling also ?? How high can it do SPI 32M/16M on air ??

I wonder if you can get it 24/7 stable in 2700mhz with stock cooler really. I got my 0517 APQW and I need a little bit more then stock vcore to get it past 2.7ghz.
