Microsoft has alerted consumers that Netscape's latest browser appears to break the XML rendering capabilities in Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Because since it is part of Windows it would cause problems. You also wouldn't be able to get updates via the Windows update site.

I'm on Netscape 8.0.1 and I can tell you this... This "flaw" affects maybe 0.0000000001% :lol: of folks browsing Internet...

How many sites are even in XML?! Besides, who actually uses IE, as well as browsing XML sites? IE already had horrible XML support anyway.

you can use nlite to remove ie from your windows install, but yeah you cant access windows update then, wish they would make it run in other browsers

another wierd ie anomaly is with msn, i have mozilla as my default and all the links in msn load in mozilla except the email which loads in ie sooooooooo gay

It's probably hardcoded to open IE instead of the default browser, cause MSN Messenger sucks! Get a real IM client, like GAIM or aMSN or something non-M$.
