Is it worth Folding on this rig?!

Hey all,

I have recently found an AMD K6-166 system, 16 mb RAM, 2gbn HDD. Is it worth putting folding on it, ain't doing muhc at the mo.

an AMD tbird 900 does ~19 hours for one WU of the P2XX class

one week on the P166 ? and since it's an AMD K6, it will be even more :D

If it were me, I would rob the parts, especially HDD and ram and use the rest as anchor for bass boat:D

Yeah didn't think it would be worth doing anything on it, it's all ready been stripped and smashed with a sledgehammer!

I got a few oldies that I gave up on...stripped them right down to screws and tossed the rest..getting ready to strip a P233 that I have folding...just not putting out WUs fast enough..gonna put something faster in that case..save PS, HDD and ram. Death and rebirth....if I were a Poet instead of a Geek that might be interesting!:D

I would say no also, it took my laptop 4 days for one WU so I stopped using it. Its a celey 500 which i thought was a P3 500, i may have to start it up again cause I lost my two work machines, grrr:mad:
