Hmmm ... new bios 510-1? I thought that version was for TCCD based memory. Shouldn't you be using 510-2? I think that the 510s are the first time I have seen anybody have much luck with the yellow dimm slots, and even then, results are mixed. I'm guessing the 510 series was written specifically for the Venice/San Diegos. I wonder if my Winne would benefit from a flash ... I'd be happy to see any signs of life from my yellow dimm slots.

In any case that's some great memory you have there throwing down some big numbers right out of the gate. :toast:

I have to say I'm liking my geil Ultra x too, though mine is the 2-2-2-5 version. So far so good for 262 @ 1.5-2-2-5 I just need to get the other timings right to get it to go higher. Finding the max on a DFI NF4 with all the settings available is like building a house of cards though. I also think that the temperature of the mem controller has a big bearing on the maximum speed of the ram.

Yes as they told me will be released only 256 and 512Mb modules after Computex 2005.Probably i will get next week 2x512 Mb of XL and will post here
After burnin the memory getting better and better
