I am running the msi neo platinum 2 and an x800xt AIW. I am sure I can get a lot more, but I first have a question for you uber knowledgable guys. I spent about 3 hours yesterday tring to get raid 0 to install windows on this mobo. I was using the drivers off of their website and dropped onto a floppy. When, I specified the drivers, it would not detect a HDD. I tried this 234 times. Well, almost. I have not tried the old 3112 or 3114 drivers yet, but I have all the sata and raid options turned on in the bios. I am using Trats 1.37 modded bios now. I need the speed of RAID 0. Somebody help me please? Oh yeah, the cpu is benchable to 2850, but my ram quit at 2800..(255)..(Hynix D43) I am in dire need.... :woot: :woot: :fact:

I had similar issues with running raid 0. I tried sata1 & 2 and it worked just fine, but moving it over to sata3 & 4, it wouldn't work. I tried my single hard drives and for some reason one of the hard drives wouldn't work with sata 3 & 4 but my other hard drive would (they were the exact same hard drive BTW). I flashed to the 1.36b bios and that resolved my issue.

I read that sata 1 and 2 were not pci locked. I have been running a NF7-S up to this point. I am not sure if the pci was locked for that raid either. I have yet to try under 1.37mod. All of this trying was under the original bios....Any other ideas?

Does anyone know if this is still true for NF4 with all 4 ports on the NB?

That is correct. I just put my raid there to see if it would work there before going back and trying 3 & 4. If you haven't tried again since you've flashed to latest bios, why don't you try now? It's what worked for me.

Good to see you Guatam. As you can see I finally went to A64. I bought a Xmystique 7.1 Dolby digital live card to replace my soundstorm in my nf7-s. Now I need to sell my NF7-s and mobile 2600 combo.(sp-97 too) It is stable at 2.6 and I pulled 6500 in 3d05 with it. This thing just rocks. The speed in windows is incredible. I am being conservative in my everyday clock and running at 2.6 on it. For benching, I can do 2.85 before my memory craps out. It is Hynix D43. That run up above was my second try. With 100 more mhz and a volt mod, I hope to see 35k. San Diego rocks. Period.

Depends on how badly you want it. :D

Friend of mine has a phase changed claw and your exact card and gets 35.5k. 35k shouldn't be a prob with an aircooled Diego. Just load up 2K/dx8.1/cat4.12 and it should be a breeze with your clocks.

What clocks does he get on his card? I really need a volt mod. I am not too overly concerned with beating you, I would rather stay with xp.... but what kind of system does he have? More info?

Yours does better...from what I remember, his card couldn't quite make it to 560 on stock air. I think he ran 550 on stock. This run was on water; I think it was 570/590. Check out those tuned timings of eshbach's, they help too. The proc is at 12x257, but a Diego at about 2.8-2.9 could probably hang with it properly tweaked as it doesn't have dual channel.

OK with a little more playing last night, I found out anything over 2700, I am not even close to prime stable.(2650 is though?) I am running my ram at 2.5,4,4,7 and it does not seem to be the culprit. (1:1) I dont know if I should try higher htt. I am running 250 x 11 for 4x LDT. Would I see better performance at 3x LDT and memory at 166 divider? I left my rig on all day yesterday and when I got home 2850 would not bench at all. 2800 would bench through all of 3d2001 and then quit after lobby high detail(really frustrating). 2 times in a row. I had a really good nature score too, I saw a high of 488. I did get a suicide shot at 2950 though. I like this cpu, but it looks like I just found the top of it yesterday. Any ideas on increasing my scores is much appreciated.
