i assume you mean the BTX standard... that was designed for intels as with the current ATX system, and the relatively poor efficiency of the Prescott chip, they needed a whole new cooling standard

no advantage really... except the cool air reaches the cpu first...

Well, I saw that one Lian Li pc, and I heard that that design improved temps.

It pushes the videocard HS onto the VC rather than making it hang off of it. That's the only advantage I notice.

Also, your CPU will be lower, so cooler air will get to it (wheras with ATX your CPU is at the top, and hot air rises).

I just experiment with it, no changes as far as the cpu goes, and my graphics card rose 5*C
