Has anyone used an open drive compressor before, on a phase change or even a water system? I want to go a bit more industrial on my next project :D
Pictures would be good.

Why would you want to use an open drive compressor? A stand alone open drive compressor is usually big, because it is powered by an external motor. Its not like your typical compressor.
For example, your car uses an Open Drive compressor, where the drive shaft is turned by a belt. So its a Belt Driven Open Drive Compressor.

Why would I want to use one,
because I can will have to do :D
I just want to try something new, thats all really.
I have the compressors, I have the motors to drive them.
Was simply wondering if anyone had treid and had pictures really.
