Hey all, I am stuck. I have reached a point where I cannot go any higher, but I know I can. My specs are in my sig. My FSB rite now is 255, and no matter what I do I cannot get stable at any higher, even 256. I have tried upping vcore, I have upped the mem voltage all the way to 3.24v and still cannot get stable. It will prime for 2 hours at the most then I get bsod! I am wondering if maybe I up AGP VDDQ from 1.6 to 1.7 in bios if that may help? Any thoughts?

ram would be my first move of upgrade for you, if you are looking to buy something.

Ya, I'm definitely gonna get some new ram, but cannot just yet. Maybe I have maxed out what I already have huh? I mean I'm very happy with how far it's already gone. Just hopin that I could maybe squeeze another mhz or 2 out of her haha.

Put divider to 3:2 and try max CPU.

Hey, good call, I haven't messed with my divider in a couple months. I have forgotten all about that haha. I will try that and find the max cpu. Thanks.

My old 3.0E would only do 255fsb as well. Anything higher would not be stable, no matter what voltage. But yeah, try the dividers first to see if it's your ram. If not your ram, then it's either the cpu or the mobo.

Well I had it at 3.9 before a few months ago, but never even tested it because I knew once I actually got into windows that it wasn't going to be stable. I ended up corrupting my OS when I did it, but I think I didn't have enough vcore when I tried it.

Sorry for the double post, but just had to update. I have tried the 3:2 divider and was not able to actually make it into windows @ 260 FSB, now 259 was able to get in and crash Prime after about 5 minutes. I upped the vcore a couple times and then stopped when it was about 1.6 idle, I don't want to go any higher than that. I still need to try 258, 57, & 56 and I'll let ya know if I am stable at those speeds, but the only problem is that when I bench my mem in Sandra it goes from 3100 mb/s + down to 2500 mb/s, I don't know if I like that.
