Eh eh

I begun on testing my laptop computer...

Sonoma 1.6GHz & 533MHz FSB & 2Mb L2 cache @ 1923Mhz

http://img278.echo.cx/img278/2444/swimmer39s3fl.th.jpg (http://img278.echo.cx/my.php?image=swimmer39s3fl.jpg)

++++++++++++
Original Batery Modes:

133 x 12 = 1600Mhz -> Mems @ 4:5 @ 166MHz @ 2.5-3-3-7
133 x 6 = 800MHz -> Mems @ 4:5 @ 166MHz @ 2.5-3-3-7
102 x 6 = 600MHz -> Mems @ 4:5 @ 127MHz @ 2.5-3-3-7

---------------

Now I need help...

My multi is from 6x to 12x & my voltage is from 0.7v to 1.308v

How can I get more multi or more voltz?! Does anyone know any memory tweaker for i915PM/GM/GMS ?!?

Nice :)

For more Vcore You could try the VID-mod (http://www.akiba-pc.com/d16g/cascadepics/vid_mod.jpg). But the CPU shouldn't have any problems going past 2GHz w/ default voltage. If your hitting a wall there its more than likely not the CPU at that point.
Multiplier wont go higher than 12x.

True...I was thinking on that... I'm using the CPU on Laptop motherboard... I think that memory or motherboard its the real problem with this....

However, 300MHz overclocking on a laptop computer, for me, is real amazing :P

I only wanna find out where can I find a memory tweaker for this!!!

Anyway, about the vid-mod, what will this do?!

how the hell do you overclock a laptop? I just dont get it. Some dude did a volt mod to his dothan on a dell mobo and overclocked. Are the system builders adding in overclocking settings now or are there applications to do the job?

By increasing the FSB we overclock all PCs... I remember that my 233MMX was working @ 266 just by increasing the FSB...

In here there are no BIOS to change (yet I hope) but nowadays software does almost everything (no toasts available yet :p: )

Acer 4601 WLMi
Dothan 1.6 @ 1.98 GHz
SuperPI 1M - 37.390 sec.
stock vcore, could run it at lower (1.2 V), but didn't bother again :p:

btw for some of you who haven't found out: you can lock your PCI freq in setfsb :toast:
however not PCIE too :D
because with higher FSB my NB BSODs - it is not even 3D stable over 1900 MHz.

Dothan @ 2 GHz VALIDATED
