How long can you run prime with 2.8Ghz?
1 minute 13 seconds isn't wery stressful.

Can you post 1MB super pi with this settings? Thanks.

Funny I just PMed you peter asking for full stepping on this cpu, just saw your post in the Venice OC thread. Amazing chip :slobber:

What is it please?

How long can it prime at 2.8? Hell, how long can it prime at 2.7?

Temp seems pretty high for so low of volts. My 3200 venice with 1.61v barely gets to 40c, after hours of prime.

Nice :)

I have a 3000+ LBBLE 0516 i can run PI @ 2520 @ stock cooler @ defaut vcore :)
Beat's the oldie winnie :D (1.5 volts for same clock)

more soon, just substitute the dead DFI NF4 :(

nice overclock, but i have to admit, running prime for 4 min isnt really stressful at all. im sure a lot of ppls venices can hit 2.7 or 2.8ghz, but the question is how stable is it really?

I guess this magical venice could be 3GHz 1.5 volt??? :D or 3.2GHz 1.6 volt? :D what I've learned is that the increasement of voltages aren't linear with the more clocks you will gain......

I love mine too ADA3000DAA4BP
CBBLE 0512DPAW
batchnr:0151

Still testing.
2.8Ghz @ 1,4 was primestabiel for 1,5 hours.

2,8Ghz @ 1,425volt prime still running 2,5 hours now.

Pifast 2860 but that was on higher volt (1,65) and my venice dont like that so i need too test that again.

All on AIR XP120 with a low papstfan and a hot room.
Need a delta fan fast and 3ghz might be posible.

This is realy bang for bug mate

YEppers. I can't imagine the countless people that would be running 2v through a CPU in hopes of 4ghz :P

It's the best week out there for Venice core Athlons.

100 % stability means about 5-6 hour in prime to me.

Only week 18 in sweden? I dont think so ;) Heres my week 17.

This is with 1.55V and xp120 with fan at 2200RPM. I dont really need all that Vcore though, later tests with around 1,45Vcore seems to get me as far. Btw memory only at 240-ish MHz since im too lazy to flip it over to 5V-rail. Memory is good for around 257MHz @ 3.4V so theres more to gain there.

so do these 0517 get a higher maximum oc or just with less volts because my 0518 can superpi at 2930 but takes 1.75 volts to do it soo whats the conclusion on that

Are you testing CPU stability (SMALL FFT) or RAM stability (LARGE FFT)?

peter lu seems a very experienced overclocker. Dunno what you're on about.

He´s right. LargeFFT is no good for CPU-testing. To stesss CPU you must run small FFT. Like 8k,12k, 16k etc.

Latest A64 Optimized Prime95 and small FFT. Thats the way to test stability :)

hey guys slightly off topic here. Im using prime v238 or 2.38 or some crap and my venice craps out in less than a minute. 230htt@1.5volts 3xHTT and using mem divider to make sure memory isnt the bottleneck. Is it cause of the outdated prime?

I will join you shortly :) I can get both 0517 and 0518, I think I will go for the 0517, as the results are better.

Hopefully the 3200+ will do 300*10 1:1 on phase change :) Nice results everyone, this makes me think twice about San Diego's which are much more expensive.
