i check the vdimm... 4V vdimm mod is not possible
so 3.2V is the max... sorry :(

I don't need more than 2.9v anyway ;)

But maybe there's some magical trick with which I can get 100mhz more on cpu or something :D

Is there Active Armor Nvidia Firewall on this board?

what about the rail of PSU..can this mobo use the 5v rail (VR) for the vdimm...?

Nope..
3.2v is max.. and TicTac stated above that he tried to unlock higher vdimm options and it was not available..

Since the Vdimm Options go up to 3.2v I think it's using the 3.3v rail

BTW Tictac is it possible to make the vcore steps smaller, because it's like this atm

1.50 1.55 1.65 1.75 1.85

and that kinda sucks, the link to the BIOS is here, would be great if you take a look at it! :fact:

CPU Volatge offset +0.000V +0.025V +0.050V +0.075V +0.100V +0.125V +0.150V +0.175V +0.200V +0.225V +0.250V +0.275V +0.300V +0.325V +0.350V +0.375V

Have you tried CPU Voltage Offset combination? :nono:

If you set "Fixed CPU Voltage" to auto.. and then enable "Over Voltage on the fly" it will let you add voltage to the stock voltage of your chip in smaller increments..

edit..

TicTac beat me.. ;)

That doesn't work for me, Offset is always set to 0.025 no matter what I set it to, when I reboot it's at 0.025 again.. :(

P.S.: I already tried different BIOS, everytime the same

I had the same problem with the 5-27 beta bios that I was trying.. flashed to the 4-14 bios and it was working all last night through my testing..

edit..

Sorry I read to fast and didnt see you tried different bios.. 4-14 is working fine for me..

I think you NEED to leave the Fixed CPU Voltage at auto and then use the Offset from there.. I tried to set the Fixed to a specific value and then add with the offset and I think that messed it up.. maybe try and reflash it..

But with 4-14 the ram totally sucks.

Works fine with my Sandy and tcc5.. you dont have a sig so I have no clue what you use..

I was stabilizing 265x11 last night.. :)

Well I just flashed the 4-14 and it works good but still I can't get the cpu any higher :slapass:

So I'm burning that whole :banana::banana::banana:ing cpu down now :toast:

Just remember that Fixed CPU Voltage has to be @ auto for the offset settings to work.. im not sure but I think thats what messed mine up before..

GL.. :)

You burned in your cpu ? Did you gain anything ? This darn stuff never worked for me before...and it seems like it still won't :stick:

No I didnt.. I dont believe burning in cpu's do as much if anything as burning in winbond ram..

Using this board with Winnie 3000+ and 2 x 512MB Kingston DT-D43 (double-sided)
manage to get 260MHz, 2.5-3-3-7, 1T, at 2.9v

5hours of memtest #5, no error ,
but how to get rid of memtest #8 errors ?

Anyone one here try the latest beta BIOS?
this one > CK84D527 (http://www.dfi.com.tw/Upload/BIOS/CK84D527.zip)

Yeah but Voltage Offset doesn't work properly, so it's useless for me.

yes it has active armour nvidia firewall, and considering the lack of stock sinks, you wouldn't want to try 4v without mods...
