As the title says I got a problem again... , sometime ago I had to close my ADSL connections temporary, in some weeks I will get it again, but for the moment I'm on ISDN, so I can't be all the time on the net.
What I want to know is if there is a way of forcing my crunching work to be uploaded, 'cos my both PC's never stopped crunching (at least I think !), for obvious reasons I'm not in internet all of the time.
Can someone enlight me please ??

If you run the XS service, you can stop the xs_d2ol1 service, and kill in the processes window either DockWin.exe or GridWin.exe. Then restart the xs_d2ol1 service, and it will upload whatever you have and download new cands. If you run the agent, just exit and rerun, it's the easiest way ( you can also right-click and choose 'manual update' or something similar, i don't have one in front of me right now ).
Also, you may be interested in increasing the number of cands downloaded each time. Look for the general.prp file under the 'res' subdirectory, edit it with notepad, and change the number of cands to 2000 ( that's the maximum value ).
Cheers,
WF ;)

Somehow it worked, I dont really know how but it worked, I didnt found the "manual upload" you were talking about, but my 2nd PC can't connect via the network, so I cant upload the rest, only the last 200 candles from this one, thanks again WindForce, as soon as I can I will upload the 2nd PC
EDIT: I already understood what was wrong, I did as you said and I already found the "manual update", for the 2nd PC I cant connect via network, so what I did was I copy all the D2OL folder to my my 1st PC and I uploaded everything, now I will be offline for some days with both PC's and I will surely be online only when I have ADSL back, asap I will crunch again

Pheeew, seems quite a pain! I think it will be easier to connect the other computer to the network for 10 minutes and have it download 2000 candidates, then disconnect it for as long as you wish :stick:
