I´m looking for the vdrop mod for the Digidice board.

I haven´t found any anywhere. Taking into account that it is a Abit board, would it be correct to say that the vdrop mod would be more or less like the IS7-x (x=G,M,E)?

I really need help from you experts because the vdrop is huge, something like 0.05-0.09v, and it fluctuates like crazy.

I exchanged the stock 200W PSU (65W combined 3.3v and 5v) for a Shuttle PC40 250W (a ~150W combined 3.3v and 5v) PSU.

I did this to see if the rails and voltages would become more stable. It didn´t happen, they still fluctuate like crazy, even a little more i would say.

What i gained was that before i had a 12v rail at ~11.80 and now i have it at ~12.40. It makes a big difference on the speed of fans. Before when i put it in load the CPU fan would decrease rpm´s, now it doesn´t change.

Assuming that the Shuttle is a better PSU than the stock one, i would say that the problem is on the voltage regulation in the motherboard. Therefore i got a big chipset heatsink and cut it into small 3cm individual heatsinks for the mosfets.

Let´s see what happens then...
