From what I understand, it would take modification akin to building your own to improve on the temp that it is already capable of...good luck with the new rig...

the 404a it has in it probably isn't worth changing. you could put 507 in it but it wouldnt' be that much colder than the 404 and it would cost you money. if you really feel the need to tweak it the best thing to do would probably be to tune the 404 charge to load for your system.

It's this one you need:

Vapochill Socket 754/939/940 & P4 478 Kit for XE/SE/PE

assuming the XE you're receiving only has a socket A head.

Sorry i post to this topic but does anyone know if i could make s939 fittings for vapo SE s478.

Like bolts with nuts through the mobo and a piece of wood with paddings to the back.
Ofcourse i would buy the "upgrade kit" which contains new insulation and stuff.

And how about changing the gass to r404. Isn´t XE the same but with r404?

ofcourse you can make your own holddown.

just make sure you insulate it well

Standard VapoXE has r404 in it.

hmmm another slight problem. the power connector cable on the chill control is only 20 pin my tagan psu is 24pin and so is the dfi mobo. how can i get round that? is there a way to convert it to run off of plug socket instead of my psu

PC75 is the one people usually use for putting 12V vapochills in, not sure how much room you would have for watercooling though if you have a dual rad or greater.
