Well after seeing my WR was beaten did a little work tonight. :) Started running Super Pi and had got below 26 @ 3300 last weekend today was too many problems. Tweaked my bios so swapped mobos. Found the other mobo not ocing as well so swapped bios chips. Finally had to stop when I saw the condensation dripping off my card to a place on my mobo that wasn't painted.

awesome! :toast:

whats the highest speed you can do 3d or other benches at?
and what exactly was the difference between your mobos? how did one of them overclock higher?
more stable vcore?
more stable high fsb?

congrats on the world record! :toast:
gonna post it on the front page :D

oh and can you post some pics of the setup? dry ice or ln2? :D

DI on CPU and GPU. I might have more pics on my cam at home w/ the gpu container also. Here's when I was still running the GPU on chilled water. I have to thank Jason57 since he built the cpu container. I may shoot for 3500 this weekend. ;) The highest I have run a 3d bench was @ 3325. It may have not been the mobo at all just the bios issue. I was just having lots of problems dialing my ram in again. Last weekend had it running great @ 277x12 with a 180 divider and my VX @ 1,2,2,6.

Thanks all. :) Just got home and checked the cooler still got more DI left. May throw my state of the art graphics card in and try to push it again. Not alot of DI left but hopefully enough for a few runs. ;)

Yeah think I could do good in 01 with that card lol. But I'll stay with H2O at first.

Edit: BTW 3500 done :)

Thanks all. No pics of the tube itself. It's very plain I believe 3" or close to 3" diameter and about 10" tall on a 3/8' base. Maybe snap a photo tonight and shoot it over. :)

if you still wonna go higher try some ln2
doesnt cost much and cools your cpu to -170 or so

GoThr3k
05-17-2005, 07:13 AM
-196° ;)
in theory, you processor wil never get to -196, a good container wil bring you to -180° or lower, but -196 isnt possible onder load, not even idle

Yup I have been checking into it. I can get it the same place I get my DI. The only problem is a container. I can rent a 180L for $30 a month but it's way too large. I am working on setting up an account to rent a smaller container. Probably won't be doing it for at least another month or so. :)

The one I have does. The new one will have more contact surface area and was told it will hold colder temps. I haven't even seen pics yet lol but trust it will be a good one. I am currently looking into a UEI DT200 temp. meter so I can actually see what temps. I have. If I get one by this weekend I'll be able to post temps. on my current set-up. :) Also checking more into getting LN2 on Saturday. If all goes well I might be able to get and run LN2 the following weekend.

Thanks I got the UEI DT200 today so this weekend I can get temps. on DI. As for air I believe I bench around 2.8. Water I have done 2.9. Tonight I'll be benching on chilled water so I'll see what that'll do. ;)
