Got one of these to go along with my venice (@ 2.7 rock stable!) and was planning to activate the other 4 pipes.

But, I accidentally changed something in Riviatuner and now something is seriously messed.

Vidio card doesnt read as anything in Riviatuner, window and I can't install drivers.

Would a fresh BIOS fix this? if not, what should I do?

Ok, Flashed the bios, that did nothing.

Reformated HD and installed windows and flashed the bios again.

Still getting the same thing...

try wiping the card clean of it's bios. totally bare.

use the command nvfalsh -e

but do not reboot.

flash the card like normal, after you erase the bios.

ok, so i was using nvflash 5.13 which registered my card as an nVidia 6200

with nvflash 4.42, everytime i try flashing i get "ERROR: NO NVIDIA display adaptors found"

anyway to override that?

Hi SDX

Early nvflash does not work with 6200/6600 series hence the error.

If the vidoe drivers are not loaded then Rivatuner does not give much informtion. If you go into the standard display control panel what drivers does it say are loaded in there for the video card ?

Regards

Andy

When I enter into properties of the video card it reads as "VGAsave"

its using "non plug and play drivers"

I will SS this when I get home later.

Use nvflash 5.13

nvflash -5 -6 -j file_name.rom

then try installing drivers

make sure you have the right bios too
