Best card to get out of these choices.

i have $190 to spend on a video card for my pc as i sold my 5800 for 90bucks, and gave my 9700pro to my brother. so which card would be the best for my pc?

Ati Radeon 9550 256MB, GeForce 5500 OC, or a Radeon 9200. also, it has to run splinter cell chaos theory.

None of them are good chosies, I think your 9700pro beats all of them. Buy a 6600Gt or a 6800Le. The 6800Le is weaker but you can mod and overclok it more and then it will perform. If you need someting cheaper go with the x700pro or XT.

man i cant i wish i had to cash. at bestbuy a 6600gt is like 250. i need a card today or tmr. i think i heard a 9550 is a great card for its money.

i got the 9550 256MB, really good card. runs all my games fine.

lol xman, its looks like you havent been reading my threads lately. first of all, theres no need for that kinda talk. 2nd of all, i gave my 9700pro to my brother becuase he had a integrated GeForce 4 MX. plus i sold my FX5800 for 90 bucks for a friend that his pc i built. and lastly, i put that money towards a new video card, and splinter cell ct.

ps: right about now what you just said it seems like stupidity is a game you play on the forums. :P

nope thats not what i mean. what i mean is, there is no such thing as a BBA 9800XT with 128MB. 9800XT's have 256MB. so he has to be wrong or he doesent know anything.

i wouldn't sell my friend my good vcard to buy a piece of sh.t (i wouldn't say the card is sh.t:, but it's sh.t compared to what you had), i would tell him buy the POS

i would only do that for family, and i still wouldn't buy what you bought, i'd have waited, atleast more than a couple hours

you prolly did all that in one day(sell 5800, post here, buy 9550), you asked for help, ppl wasted their time to help and you still went ahead

are you open to refurbished cards? Newegg has some really nice x700s and 9800Xt in price range
