I just got a IC7-G from a friend. I tried booting up (too see if it will post) and it dosn't give a video signal (moniter light is orange). I think its a short in the AGP slot because the videocard fan spins up for 1/2 a second then stops. The card is plugged into the agp slot, given proper power, and its in working condition. Would this be caused by a missing jumper or is the slot really fried? Thanks for the help ....

Not because of a jumper. Its its a fairly new graficcard yes??

Trie booting without the card mounted. And se if the computer powers properly up then, You will of course have to gees a bit ;)
