Finally got off my ass and got it all up and running with only a few minor hiccups in the way. She's off and running 2 instances of F@H...both of them running gromacs :D
Before I was climbing the charts with just 1 XP2400, now I have 2 "MP" 1600s @ 1575mhz (max I can do with this board).
I look to distance myself from that pesky [M]adshrimper Duron and overtake OPPAINTER and felix88 soon. :D

Hey Phil, that's the K7d board right? Haven't you unlocked those chips yet? You should easily get 1728mhz at 12 x 144. Mine is running completely stable at that. I can run 3dmark on continuous loop and have the two instances of F@H running the gromacs at this speed. Did you use mp's or xp's? I've got my vcore running at 1.82 right now and with the coolermaster hcc-002's I'm at 40c on cpu2 and 41c on cpu1.
But, never the less, Good job bro!:D You're going to love that duallie!
Mine's coming.....its coming! :)
Just waiting on those darn HSF's...def. should be here today dangit ;)

Have you tried emailing him? Do a search for his user name here, his email is listed in the thread he posted in.

Yep, this is on the K7d.
Haven't unlocked these chips...I suck at it :/
I have it set to the highest vcore and FSB settings it will allow me to...1.85v and 150fsb.
I converted 2 XP1600s into MP1600s (well...with the overclock they're MP1900s ;))
I'm using some 80mm quiet fans now to replace those vantec tornados on top of a couple slk-800s. I have the thinnest layer of AS3 ever produced by man or machine, and my temps haven't gone above 32C yest. Right now after folding all night at 100% I'm at 27C and 30C.
I'm VERY happy with these slk-800s. They own.

Don't feel bad, I'm not the best unlocker either. My duallie has been unlocked for the last 45 days or so, and just this weekend I had to redo both of them. It lost the multi's, so whne I shut it down and pulled them out, I noticed the conductive grease I originally used had baked to a crisp. So this time around, I used defogger paint. Took me like 12 tries and all day Sunday to finally get it, but now they're unlocked again and running beautifully:) Funny part is though, after unlocking them and getting the extra 200mhz out of them, I only dropped my times on these gromacs by about 25 - 30 secs per frame. Kinda expected a little better out of them than that. Good thing those xp1600's are really durable though, one of the attempts sunday failed and I yanked them back out and when I used a razor blade to remove the conductive paint, I went clean through the pcb and exposed the copper ground. So I just dripped a dab of super glue over it and sat it under a light bulb for about twenty minutes to bake it. Then I took the razor blade and shaved the glue flat and the next attempt yeilded success!!! Also managed to take the time sunday and unlock the xp1600 I've got in XF2 and I've got it runniing at 16something or another, almost 1700mhz. I'm not sure what is holding it back from going any farther , either the mobo or the severly generic ram in it. I've got Hardass' Shuttle AK35gtr in it, so I really don't think that's the limiting factor here. Oh well though, It's holding its own:D

I just switched my monitor, keyboard, and mouse cables over to teh dually of doom so that I could post from it. It just completed 2 gromacs in ~7 hours and 45 minutes.
I wasn't expecting it to be that much slower than my XP2400....but that's still 6 WUs a day from this machine and 4 from my other.
MMMMMmmmmmmmm.......10 gromac WUs a day should boost me up pretty good. :D
Phil
fill you are a geek, im putting out about 4 or 5 WU a day right now, need to do more

Im using a asus 266-d, The 1600xp/mp's i had would do 162fsb for 1701mhz, Any more and i get the NTFS corruption error.
The chips will do 1840mhz by themselves. No 1/4 divider on mine. So I upgraded to 2000xp/mp's 148x12.5 for 1850mhz each. And less corruption worries now.
I wish the Asus board had multipliers, but i got it for $95 from newegg's refurb. so i cant complain
You should be able to do more mhz with 1600's?? And with the slk8's your using. Im using 2 crap SVC g68's $4.99 80mm heatsinks. Yeah the cpu's @ 55C, but stable 24/7.
Try them single to see if one of them is just a dog and holding the other back?

I'm running em at the max clock the BIOS will allow me to. It only goes up to 150 FSB.
