I can´t see any reason for it not to work.
But, where´s the dryer?

I would connect the two tubes from the condenser to the filter/drier and the have the captube coming out of the filter/drier. :D
hmmm but not needed unless your using 2 evaps.
where the caplines go to, thats the evaporator,
the bottom pipe leaving that is the suction line.
ya will attach ya flexible suction line here to that with the direct die evap at the end.
is there any chance we could have a pic of the condenser.
it might be easier to remove the drier and attach a new drier with just one capillary line.
if you braze the capillary lines together like in first pic will need to be very careful that you dont braze the ends shut when you try to braze them up causing a restriction.

I was confussed by his pictures. He's showing the captubes going into the out evaporator.
What he needs to do is cut the liquid line coming out of the condenser right below the bottom captube and either hook on a filter/ drier here or extend the 1/4" liquid line a little further and then connect the filter/drier.
I was confussed by his pictures.
sorry runmc i was refering to the original post
i should have done a quote to make it more clear

Your answer is very good, he will need this info when he connects his suction line.
My point is that he needs to do away totally with the two caplines and not try to join them into one. :)
