broken service hose

Hi friends, after my compressor felt down, the service hose has been cutted some cm away from compressor....
i tried to braze a service valve on it ,but i heated to much...
the results are ugly, but aparently no leak..
Have i lost the compressor ?

lol, that sucks. You'll have to answer your question by testing it, but its prob ok.

How did you drop it?

The shell is basiclly a tin can, re-attaching should not harm the inside. I would be more worried if any internal damage was caused by the fall that broke the tube in the first place.the motor and compressor are spring mounted and a mount could have broke or you could have bent valve reeds or someother part.I would wire it up and check it out before you proceed.
