Hi Guys,

Just joined your folding team with a little farm,

1 p4 3.46 ee
1 p4 3.4 northwood
1 p4 2.8 520
1 p4 2.8 533 fsb

these are my old boxes and as i hate parting with anything, ive decided to fold em. Im using them to test a thermal paste im developing and theyre keeping my toes nice and warm :D

just started folding em a day or so ago but this should help the cause.

btw whats the best way to run , hyperthreaded or not? and if hyperthreaded, how do i run two instances on each machine?

cheers.

Welcome to the team Oublie :toast: That farm should kick out some points for the team!

For Pande group its best not to run hyper threading, for the points its probably about 10 to 25% more efficient, on some work units. And latest wu's freeze when two instances are run on one physical cpu.

John.

What can I do to increase my point output ?
I have 300+ wu......but only 12,000+ points .
Should I be picking a certain type of protien ?
I have XTREME type systems and power is not a problem.

You could try the advmethods flag to get just out of beta wus. Could you post a copy of the log file here. I'll take a look.
