I will probably be getting a 1/3hp and a 1/12hp, going to use the 1/3 on the cpu and wondering if the 1/12 would be enough to keep a 9800 pro or an x800xt at -10 to -20c loaded?

maybe the 9800pro i heard the x800 puts out more heat load have to due some math...

actually, i think x800s put out about as much heat as the 9800s, hence the very similar stock cooling solutions.

9800 pro has a smaller hsf, your thinking of the 9800xt which ran really hot compared to the 9800 pro, and in fact uses more wattage (not sure about how much wattage of heat it puts out however) than the x800xtpe.

What is the wattage (Cooling not motor) of the compressor you are getting and what is the Manafacturers ratings for temp at wattage like if it is a 134A compressor and has say 65 watts at like -20C then it will have say 65 watts at -34C with the addition of R507 and then we raise the temp say to 10 C and it will cool 125 watts.. so look up the wattage of your card at teh clocks you want of figure it out and then look at the chart for 134A and subtract 14 degrees this si a fair value.

This guy here (http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=376776) is using a 1/12 hp compressor on an x800xl. I think he is a member here as well but I don't know his name here. He was getting -15 on the GPU without the system tweaked very much. I think the x800xt puts out more heat though, as it uses an older core at higher clocks.

It's rated for 539btu's at -5c w/134a, so I think -10c would be achievable with 404a. Well I'll find out in a few weeks :)
