Alright go easy on me... Im totally new to D2OL. Its nothing like setting up F@H :p:

I used the easy personal installer to install what is needed etc. Its up and running AFAIK.

I open it up and it has a few stats/figures.

Tasks Assigned: 197
Tasks Downloaded: 197
Results to upload: 3

It also displays some funky stuff on the left hand side of the little prog and counts up the conformers at the top left.

Can anyone explain what is actually going on :D Do you complete conformers to complete a candidate or do you complete both?

Running a single instance on my A64 @ 2600mhz right now. Do I go off candidates per day or something to generate stats?

Information and help would be much appreciated to get my head around all this :D

Thanks :toast:

Hmm, i'm pretty ignorant about the actual workings, but from what I understand there is 20 conformers to a candidate ( or something like that ). A completed candidate is a result, or Work Unit.

Once you have uploaded a candidate you should appear in the stats. Make sure you are a member of team #2091 ( xtreme :) ). You should register your nodes at http://app.d2ol.com/memberServices/memberLogin.jsp

Almost every important subject is covered in this comprehensive thread >> http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=43195

Welcome to the team! Glad you've joined us.

I think 20conformers= 1 candidate. Its running correctly, but u might want to make it download 2000 cands. Just go to properties and change the quene size to 2000

Thanks for the Welcome guys, glad to be part of the team.

Figures now look like:

Tasks Assigned: 190
Tasks Downloaded: 190
Results to upload: 10

I'l get the 4 installer installed on my xeon rig in a sec and register the nodes and see what happends.

Ive changed the queue size as suggested ;)
