View Full Version : Output back over 40k

Despite some setbacks to our output in the past two weeks, brought about by uncertainties surrounding the D2OL project, and the temporary(I hope) departure of some major producers, we are turning out over 40k again on a daily basis. This reflects the depth of XS D2OL, as well as the dedication of its members. We are back on course to becoming the #2 team in the third quarter, with a shot at #1 by year end. :toast:
My own daily production has steadied above 7k, but I promise everyone that I have enough hardware enroute to go after 10k, while the team shoots for 50k. If you need to source any Xeon chips let me know. As a result of having bought close to 20 pairs of these on eBay and elsewhere in the past month :p: , I have become quite good at it. :) I have also begun posting links in the 'Deals Thread' so go and have a look.
Onward and upward.

I'm not quite sure about that, yesterday Duc joined our team with 3.263 points and today somebody dumped allmost 2k.

Yes I agree DDtung we need to continue as scheduled. We really havent had many off days .... dont know what lost prophet is talking about we are hitting high thirties which is where we were for the past couple months. We did have mid forties there for awhile, but awful funny all this negative d2ol talk was started by members of free-dc posting in our forums and our output dropped a bit.

Actually, one of your members (Gorgeous) made the post as a link to the discussion on Free-DC forum (I started that post to rally Free-DC back to D2OL with a little friendly competition). Many of our members have decided not to continue this project, but several have popped on to your forum to wish you well in passing TFY, us, TA, and the cows.
I would never discourage anyone from running this project and plan to return as at least a top 10 producer as soon as I stomp a few teammates in FAD.
how much would a dual opteron 246 turn out daily?

Thanks for visiting us, and clarifying it ( clarification, again, for those who didn't see clearly the first time round :) ). That is how I see it. I'm pretty sure that the whole "mess" was somewhat heightened by lingering reservations some of us ( us, as in all D2OLers, have had all along. )
For now, that last post by Charles helped. We, or maybe I should say, I, would still like more info and communication.
Good to see you coming around, Ron.

Hi all! I've not stoped, just put d2ol on hold to answer the fad challenge.Must work hard to keep #2 spot with ronbo54 and others comming up fast!
As I have said before Fad is my main Dc project and I still have some concerns with D2ol not playing nice by it's self without d2oldaddy.

good to hear you are still around plum. we could use your output after you fend off the guys in FaD. As for D2OL misbehaving, you should run Helheim's Xtreme Watch Dog if you need to keep things under control. I have this feeling that you know exactly what I'm talking about already, but I thought I'd mention it just in case. :)
