Played with dry ice for second time this morning. Had a lot of problems wiht BSOD's and crashes, but I finally got it mostly bench-stable at 3.2ghz. X800 XT was at 630/618, vmodded and air-cooled.
Link: 38,015 (http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=8561335)
Water droplets formed on mobo during bench, but I put on some more nail polish and didn't have much problem. All I used was foam donut on top side of mobo, and foam between backplate on backside.
A few pics.

Very good for single channel, is that the top 754 score ?

Hehe quality, very very nice, on such low GPU clocks as well, well relatively low.

Damn I envy you! Your work is very very impressive. I've been trying to come an earshot of your air score and have failed to even do that.
Respect.
How about putting that X800 on dry ice?

Gautam, I think I will eventually dice the X800, but not this go-round :) I'm still nervous about doing it, simply cause I'm screwed if I boxor it..... but I'm sure I won't be able to help myself in the end :p:
And zakelwe I *think* mine is the new top 754 score.
*EDIT* Yes G H Z, it's a Chilly unit.
awsome result,william. :)
you deserved to be #1 on 754.
go further,DI your card and shoot 40k.ITs doable.
You got the skills, and your score will last forever :toast:

wow. Maybe on a better day 3.3 might be benchable, and with your X800 under dice, U might be the only one to get 40K on S754.

Well assuming I got everything to play nice under DI, I think I could take 39K, but honestly I think it would take more luck than I have to break 40K. Of course I will do my best when I go for it, but imo it's too big a stretch. I know someone like OPP could to it, with his skills and cascades, but for a mere mortal with dry ice......
We'll see ;)

Actually 3.3ghz is about my max suicide shot ;) :( No chance of getting it benchable. Even if I could get my CPU higher (which I can't, 3220mhz hard-locked in 3D), ~3240mhz would be max due to my memory holding me back -- can only do 270mhz semi-stable (for 270x12).
Still, 40K on 754 would rock like nothing else....

Actually the DFI/DTR/6800 are in a case water cooled right infront of my legs. Done with benching. Gaming till I can afford new stuff and I get phase change.

Very nice score twilius! Congrats on the new top s754 score, you beat me to it
If all goes well Ill give you some competition in a couple of weeks ;)
edit: those two wires on the backside of the motherboard, did you connect 3,3V line straight to the dimm slots?

Go for 40k. Persistence pays off.
Very nice! I plan on contending for the top s754 spot when my PS gets here. I am nearly to 30k on stock cooling so I know this chip has some headroom. I also have to get this card modded as it don't clock for crap lol. But, congrats on the score for now. Did you try and AM3 run at 267x12?

Hehe, I don't expect my score to stay on top for long - after all, GPU is air-cooled. Yep, those wires are for vdimm, with them my vdimm is always ~.05v less than actual 3.3v rail.

Nope, I've never benched AM. Ran it a couple times when it first came out, never done it again.

Thanks m8. I will definately try my hardest when I do another DI session with CPU & GPU under dice. Might be a while though, I can only get DI when someone I know is making a drive trip through a city like 3hrs away :( not available anywhere locally.
Cheers dudes!
Yeah mate, your scores are proper kick ass.
Your air scores are well impressive as well.
Makes my scores look crap, with my rig, i reckon you'd have 34K easy.
Ah well, should have a Mobile 3400+ soon, that does basically 3ghz.

What more specs you want? :P They're all in the compare URL.
3700+ Clawhammer at 267x12=3207mhz with 1.92v, dry ice cooled
2x256 HyperX BH-5 at 267mhz 1.5-2-2-0
X800 XT PE at 630/618 vmodded and air-cooled, eshbach mem timings
Win2K SP4 DX8.1 Cat 4.12
Anything I'm missing?

An honor to have Macci say "very nicely done" :toast: I've only been playing with subzero cooling since you guys inspired me at TXGF in Dallas :D
That Dothan is crazy (particularly in Lobbies and Drag's) 258pts behind me with ~400mhz less CPU, 34mhz less FSB, and somewhat higher card clocks :slobber: Both of us with low Car Lows :D
That's gonna be crazy when you freeze it Macci, you know it :fact:
