I got 28k with 1.65v but then it started overheating .. that was about 645/1250 or so .. not too good a memory clock considering 1.6ns memory
I recommend an Asus if you can get one.

Well, I have been considering the GLH alot, because it seems very well performing.
Andy, how come the Asus?

Some people were getting 700 rather than 645 :D
To be honest the main thing is still luck of the draw, however the Asus always seems to do fairly well, maybe they invest a bit more in the PCB and manufacture being so big ?

I am still thinking of the GLH. How does a PowerColor X800XT PE perform compared to the GLH? Or just a plain X800XT PowerColor vs GLH?
I know Kanavit doesn't use LOD or anything. These 28k numbers they talk about are probably not heavily tweaked.

What? guys, we are talking about 6800 boards not 6600, how the hell you get 645mhz core clock, the max I've seen was about 650 on people like Macci and Shamino. And you say 700????? :slap:

oops sorry. meh bad .. complete misread !
Let me do this to myself
:slapass:
Mind you, if the 6800Gt is same as the 6600GT then I'd still avoid it :D

In my opinion Gainward went sour when sold to PNY. My 6600GT does nothing :(
My 6800GT G/S 2,0ns ram did 431/1202 benchstable, at default voltage and cooling.

THat sounds quite nice, although I been thinking of saving money and going X800XL.

My Gainward GT GS with GLH bios @1.5v and chiled WC does :toast: "check my sig"
I found that having GLH bios get me about 250+ 3dmark score since it utilizes tighter timings. Even with GLH bios my 2.0ns ram clocked that far.
This GT still holds #1 spot on ORB in 3d03 in it's category only 30pts short of 16K :D
Gainward makes one of the best AGP GT's. But it only has 1 year waranty and then you have to pay for repair if card goes bad. They are hard to find and still are priced in $400+ range while you can get BFG or EVGA GT for around $300
