hi.
my celeron (2,4ghz) rig puts out about 50/day.
seems very low to me because an old P3 does about 20/day.
is there something wrong, or arenÂŽt celerons the best crunchers? :p
thx

Celeron D? Or 478 celeron? Since the old celerons suck at everything I'd assume this suck at this to

celerons Ds can do 4ghz on air it seems. Don't think the older ones are very good though.

celeron Ds come in the 478 package too, and yes they also OC like mad ;) What clock speed is it, a 2.4 celeron D 478 can easily hit 4GHz even on the stock cooler.

ehh.. i wouldn't go that far... our 2.8 celery D will do 4ghz, but not d2ol stable. It's crunching at 3.8 right now.

i had a celery D 478 for a few days between my 3.0c and my 3.0e and i took it significantly past 4GHz (shame i ran into HDD corruption so i cant prove it). I think the 2.4 celery D that i had gave up at 4.5GHz but was only D2OL stable up to 4.2GHz.
Edit- please note i was not using the stock cooler though, i run a Zalman 7700 ALCu.

How much do a celeron 4ghz dock can per day? I have a unused intel S478 mobo and it could be a cheap way to dock.....
