I'd rather he was here, and running it; but since he's not...
Got my ( his ) board/chips/RAM/HSF from Jeff on Friday. Installing XP as I type this. Everything is a go so far, it seems. I won't be able to get her done til later, as far as installing updates, SP's, apps, etc. I need to shower up and be someplace in an hour. But this baby ought to be up and running ( w D2OL running, of course ) by the end of the day.

BTW, if you have have the pleasure of receiving something shipped by Jeff, you will be stunned. Immaculate, almost anally perfect packing job. Then the gentleman threw in a TNT 32M VC card as an extra ( which will help me out a lot! ).
You are the man, Jeff!

Ya it was a blast, went to New Orleans, but I got food poisoning the last day I was there and I'm still not 100% over it so that's not so good.

Ok. It is up and running at 3049 mHz with 4 instances of D2OL installed and crunching away.

I think you'll stay ahead of me for awhile. I can't get all three of these DX rigs to run properly at the same time. They all start out running fine and then they go down hill for no apparent reason. For instance yesterday on one of them 4 instances of D2OL.exe was running and 4 instances of DockWin.exe all day and for some reason each instance only did one cand for the whole day. Restarted it and it started working properly again though. Strange. :(

Sounds like your overclocked too high, thats what my rig does if its clocked to high. Back off by like 100mhz

I'll try that. They usually run fine for a few days after a fresh rebuild then start acting up though without changing the speed. When I have them clocked too high d2ol usually just crashes but maybe it's high enough to cause problems but not enough to crash completely. Thanks.

I think jjcom might be right about the too high overclocked thing. Back off just like 100mhz and see what happens. BTW, u should fix your sig, I hate having to check free-dc where u are now. :nono:
